Hanken's library in Vaasa is located in the Vaasa city library (2nd floor). Here you find Hanken's printed course books and printed journals. Note that Vaasa City Library is closed due to a system update. During this time the Web library is also closed.

You need a library card and PIN-code in order to borrow books from the library. Apply for a library card from the customer service desk in the Vaasa city library or directly from the Hanken library staff in Vaasa. You can also activate, for example, your Kela card or driver's license, and use it as a library card. Always take your library card with you if you want to borrow printed books.

In Vaasa, you can also find literature from the Tritonia Academic Library and the Åbo Akademi Library in Academill. If you are a customer at these two libraries, you can borrow and reserve materials, and use the public spaces in the buildings. Through the national search portal Finna, you can see which other libraries in the country have the literature you need.
Books and articles that aren't available in the Hanken library or in any other library in the Helsinki region (for students or staff in Helsinki) or in libraries in Vaasa (for students or staff in Vaasa), can be requested for free as inter library loan.
